You might have to pay more to get the brand name product Clobex. However, the generic clobetasol should be bioequivalent to Clobex, and as a result, you should have the same outcome using the cheaper generic.

Assuming that they’re in the same dosage form (cream, spray, gel, lotion, shampoo, etc.), there should not be any difference between the two. Clobex is basically the brand name, while clobetasol is the generic name.
