Cotrimoxazole (Bactrim), or any other antibiotics for that matter, takes about 2-3 days before they can effectively control an infection. If you throw up right after taking the antibiotic then you have to take another one (to replace the dose you’ve thrown out)…

But if a good 30 minutes has already gone by before you threw up, you don’t need to take another. If you’ve taken the medications for 3 days and there was no significant improvement, better go back to your doctor. In the meantime, try to get enough fluids to avoid dehydration. Take small, frequent feedings to prevent vomiting. If you want bactrim with no prescription you could search on the internet.
